The natural diversity is one of the highest in the whole country. A lot of species exist only at this place. The National Park was build to preserve and protect this unique natural patrimony. In one park you can visit the main types of Brazilian vegetation: Hilly savanna, the subtropical Savanna Biome, and the Atlantic Rainforest. The famous Brazilian landscaper Burle Marx called this place once “The Garden of Brazil”. He was impressed by the colors, formats and views – Orchids, Bromeliads, Palm trees, Grasses and Evergreens.

Traverse of 08 hours trekking through all three biomes of the National Park. On the way to the Congonhas waterfall, it is possible to see caveman paintings. After a bath we go descending to the Gavião and Andorinhas waterfalls. Coming back through the Bocaina Valley.
